Big Hearted & Fun
The 3rd annual Dream Walk 2008 is a wonderful chance to, not
only enjoy a beautiful day in the park, but it is a great opportunity
to help support an amazing charity. Money raised by the 5k walk is
used to help ill children across Canada.
This year 4 cities will be joining together to raise money for the
Starlight Foundation - Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, & Vancouver.
So join us in showing just how much Ontarian’s & Torontonian’s
in particular care about their children. Let’s make this year a
little brighter for the sick children of Canada.
Other Activities & Events: Emcee Jerry Archer from KX96,
Children’s entertainers Terri & Rick, bouncing castles,
other children’s activities, access to the water park & more.
- Location: The Pavilion at Woodbine Park. Don't be confused, you want Woodbine Park not Woodbine Beaches Park. Woodbine Park is on the corner of Coxwell Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard E.
- Time: 10:00am — 2:00pm
- Directions: From the Don Valley Parkway South.
- Take Lakeshore Boulevard E till you come to Coxwell Avenue.
- Turn Left on Coxwell Avenue.
- Turn right on Eastern Avenue. Parking is on the right hand side.
- Directions: From the QEW.
- Take the Gardiner Expressway going east, it will turn into
Lakeshore Boulevard continue on Lakeshore Boulevard until
you come to Coxwell Avenue.
- Turn Left on Coxwell Avenue.
- Turn right on Eastern Avenue parking is on the right hand side.
- Parking: There is convenient parking on the north side of the park. Just
off of Eastern Avenue.
